In May 2022, after a period of burnout, I stepped away from work and booked a one-way flight to Lisbon with no plan. Over the next few months, I moved through Italy, Spain, France, London, and Scotland, documenting the journey through thousands of photos, some lost midway when my phone was stolen, the rest filling every gigabyte of a cheap replacement phone.
Back in Brooklyn, I revisited what remained and transformed fragments of the trip into these collages. The project became both a playful experiment and a grounding, healing return to working with something physical.
